"This was a few years ago, but I was told a very similar story from someone yesterday that went to another hospital and I had to write this… Long story short, I went in with 3+degree burns on most of my entire right hand. We’re talking, almost seeing bone in some areas… my wife rushes me into the hospital and I DID get taken back to get treated within 5-7 minutes….. then I was forced to sit there with NOOOOOOO HELP OR PAIN MEDS for jusssst short of 40 minutes. So, while at the hospital it took me close to 50minutes to finally have someone come BACK to me and give me any sort of attention/pain meds. With this injury, medication should have been given immediately and then make me sit. If I had to do it over again, I would have screamed my head off until someone came and did their job. ESPECIALLY after hearing a friends story."
"My husband took me to this hospital [[first time]. I was in terrible pain. I waited about 5 minutes before going back. Once in the back, I was treated with the most respect and compassion. Dr. Spewock was very kind and compassionate as well as the nurses They did a ct and diagnosed the problem BUT did NOT tell me everything that the ct showed. Found out by going into my patient portal. I had no problem with the hospital but the doctor SHOULD HAVE told me ALL THE FINDINGS."
"I have gone to GH many times the staff is normally good but I did have one bad visit in 2021. The reason for the poor review is the fact they add politics to the lobby! LGBTQ flags should not be in a general medical facility. It’s inappropriate. I’m there for a medical situation not to have a political stance thrown in my face! KEEP POLITICS OUT!!! That type of stuff should be kept between a doctor and the adult patient!"
