"When I called to make my appointment I told the girl exactly what I needed done-- I needed a gas control valve replacement. I knew this because I had Woodfin come out to my house. However because of the manufacturer of my fireplace, they were unable to get the part and referred me to someone else. So I called this company. Today, when the plumber showed up, he told me exactly what was wrong- I needed to replace my gas control valve, which is exactly what I told him when he walked in my door. However, he said he could not help me, and I needed to call someone else and referred me to yet another company. I was told "I can get gas to your fireplace, but I can't fix your fireplace." What I am upset about is the fact when I made my appointment I told the scheduler EXACTLY what I needed, they sent someone out, charged me a service fee, and referred me to yet another company. The customer service reps may need some education regarding what their plumbers can actually do. I am now out 2 different service fees totaling almost 200 dollars, and my fireplace is still broken."
