"Excellent fast service. A little pricey. They didn’t quote the $500+ price until it was fixed…..35 ton boss logsplitter… I am happy to have it fixed. Also didn’t research what cost would be “new carburetor vs rebuilding the old one” they automatically rebuilt the clogged one so they said when I was not home"
"Not responsive and elusive. I left a $40 cash deposit (required) and haven’t heard from them in four weeks. I stopped by Shreve Road and my equipment was stored outside. No calls back as promised and still do not have my equipment. UPDATE: Went back and picked up my edger and all the disassembled parts. Attendant could not refund deposit or provide any customer service. Total lose, no refund, and this place is a scam. Beware"
"It cost me an 80 dollar deposit to learn this place is probably a scam. They refused to communicate. Told me it was ready for pick up when the mower wasn’t. Couldn’t tell me when it was going to be done. I asked about my deposit and was told “the mechanic already looked at it so we keep the 80 bucks”. I knew it was risky to try them but I thought it was worth a shot in order not to have to buy a new mower. 80 bucks later I suspect all the negative reviews are right. So, beware. ****UPDATE: the only problem with the mower was that the safety fuse wasn’t fully inserted. It would jiggle, and the mower would turn off. I discovered this only after I picked up my mower and losing my deposit. The mower works perfectly now. To a legit mechanic this would have been obvious. I discovered it by accident. They never looked at the mower. The statement they did was untrue. To me, it’s confirmed this place is a scam."
"This place is terrible. Charged me over $200 to repair a gas leaf blower. Got it home and it wouldn’t even start because they had shortened the pull cord. And they wanted another $100 to fix it again. I should have listened to my instincts when going up the broken steps to the broken door that perhaps this was not the best place to get something repaired…"
"Avoid this place. I don't know how they have 4.2 overall rating. Misleading, maybe some of the good ratings are old. I dropped off my tiller that wouldn't start and asked for an estimate to repair it. An older gentleman said that I needed to leave an $80 deposit, which I refused to do. I told him that I only paid $200 for the machine when I purchased it brand new, and that I would not spend a lot to repair it. I told him that I just wanted a diagnosis and ballpark repair estimate. I never signed off on any repairs to be done. The gentleman said the lady who handles the billing would call me later that day to advise me. No one called, so I called back later that day and asked them to provide a cost estimate for repairing my tiller. She advised me that "he is diagnosing the problem now and we'll let you know". About an hour later I received a text that the repair is finished and the cost is $254.80, which is more than I paid for the machine brand new. The tiller was only used a few times and at worst need a new carburetor. It is illegal to perform unauthorized work without the customer's consent. I called and advised that I did not authorize the repairs and would not pay the $255, and stated that I wanted to speak with the owner. She advised the owner was not available but he would call me. The owner did not get in touch with me nor did he or she leave any messages or send me any emails to attempt to resolve. I asked for a breakout of their charge for parts and labor but they ignored my request. About 5 days later I received a threatening text message that if I did not come and pick up my tiller and pay for the unauthorized repairs by COB on the same day they will dispose of my tiller, which of course is illegal. In all of my prior service repairs and dealings I have never experienced such poor treatment or lack of concern by the repair facility. A total hassle. I'm considering calling the police because they have my tiller and will not release it without me paying for their high priced unauthorized repairs."
