"SVB is a pre-professional ballet company for serious dancers ages 10-18. Dancers rehearse at home studios throughout southwest Virginia and come together on weekends for class and rehearsals held at the Star City School of Ballet’s studios. Performances include The Nutcracker each December, multiple outreach performances throughout the year including Dance Español in cooperation with Roanoke City Schools and led by SVB’s Artistic Director Perdro Szalay. Spring performance varies with original and classical works."
