"Please read this review before you purchase fireplace doors from this company. Buyer beware!!! Extremely poor communication. I called multiple times about when the job was going to be started. Brick had to be added for the doors to go in, so approved this thinking everything would be fine and it appeared fine by picture without starting a fire. We found later after using the fireplace the doors didn't fit. The brick added was supposed to be secured properly but was left just sitting under the door. I called and left messages for several weeks trying to resolve the issue. It wasn't until I called from a different number that they answered. When I let a sales person know that problem, he said that Barry would call me back. He did but was VERY rude and refused to resolve the matter. The only communication he would do was by mail. I responded to his letter sending UPS, and he never responded. A lawyer would've cost more than the doors. I was so excited to receive the new doors but was left with $1700 doors that don't fit and was told by another professional who came out to inspect the doors that I could've bought this from Lowes or Home Depot. Shame on you Barry for taking advantage of your customer and not trying to resolve this issue!!!! Too bad google wouldn't let me load the video. You don't even deserve a star."

"Very poor communication, had to repeatedly call to get the job done. On one occasion since calls were not answered my husband and I went to the store and the owner told us he was with a customer and asked us to respect that, even though he had promised us a call back and had not done so. He did that evening with a follow up. Was left waiting on 2 different days with no idea when someone was coming. Asked for the plumber's name and the owner said he works for him and would not give out the name and phone number. When the plumber came I asked for his name and phone number and he gave it to me. He said he would give me a business card but never did. When he called me the name on his cell phone was different from his actual name. Seems strange. When I asked the plumber about this he didn't really answer my question. Paid for the job on February 27, job finally done on April 3. After the gas line was installed I repeatedly called the store, messages were not answered, was told the installer was out sick. When the installer came he told me he returned to work on Tuesday. I called the store 2 times on Tuesday and nobody returned my messages. On Thursday the owner called me to at 2 pm. Luckily I was at home as I had no idea the installer was not sick still. I was told he would be over in about an hour or an hour and half. It took 2 hours for him to come. We were also told someone would inspect the chimney and it does not appear that it was done. Glad the job is finally done. A customer should not have to repeatedly make calls or be treated discourteously when asking for simple information. I came back to the store on 11/17/2020 to ask how to change the batteries in the receiver. The man in the store showed me how to do that. He said he remembered me from my review. I came home and changed the batteries. All it does is beep. I called the store back and the man I spoke with earlier said I needed to press the up arrow right after replacing the batteries. I wish he had told me the complete process to begin with as the book doesn't tell you how to do this. I hope other customers have a more positive experience. May 22, 2023 called the store to ask how to use the remote as I had misplaced the paperwork I was given initially. Again, the man I spoke to was less than friendly and said he would call me back as he had a customer. Several hours later, no call. He did ask my name, which I gave him, and he remembered my review, above after all this time. I had hoped to have a more positive experience this time, but alas that was not the case. In the meantime I found the information I needed online."
