Camp Bays Mountain is a camp and retreat center located at 1435 S'mores Trail in Kingsport, Tennessee, United States. On Sunday, April 21 from 6:00-7:30, we will be hosting a human trafficking workshop in partnership with the Community Coalition Against Human Trafficking (CCAHT). This workshop will discuss the two types of trafficking occurring in the East Tennessee region and provide suggestions for individuals, churches, and organizations looking to help in various ways. Please note that due to the content of the workshop, individuals under 18 are not permitted to attend. Preregistration is not required and there is no charge to attend. The workshop will take place at the Allison Lodge dining hall on our campgrounds.
We are also excited to announce that we will be offering a full summer camp program in 2024. More information regarding staff onboarding, camper registration, camperships, and our online registration catalog will be available after January 1, 2024. Make sure to select Camp Bays Mountain when registering, as our other Holston Camps are also listed on the same link.
Additionally, we welcome groups to consider us as a host for their next retreat. Whether it be a business, church, or any other group, we can accommodate both small and large groups. Our location, just five miles from downtown Kingsport, TN, offers a peaceful and serene environment for your group to grow and connect.

"Do NOT recommend if you have disabilities that are not visible. They are not very accommodating to staff with "invisible" disabilities, so I can only imagine how they treat campers with those same problems."
"I haven't been to the new camp. But I had a blast at Buffalo Mountain Camp. Arts and Crafts, canoeing, Horseback riding. Sad to see this new camp doesn't have everything it once had. I was looking into sending my children there but researching and researching I don't see some of the things on here that they'd be interested in. But Buffalo Mountain Camp is something I'll always remember as a child. Holston Homes sent me there. Such a great get away for troubled kids. Christian based. The singing around the camp fire. Just everything. Great memories and awesome caring staff!"
"Camp Bays Mountain is a warm, welcoming, God centered haven. My son has attended day camp, overnight camp and Christmas Camp. The staff treat him wonderfully. They even accommodate his having to eat gluten free. I would recommend this camp to any child!"
"I think it needs to be more organzied. My girls were told to go one place and then had to go somewhere else. I think when they come in for registration that all the information needs to be correctly given out and that would cause less confusion and less discomfort for any child. I'm unsatisfied with that aspect of it. When I pick up the children my star might change. We will see. Hopefully you all will get this fixed."
