YMCA Brighter Horizons Youth Center

YMCA Brighter Horizons Youth Center, located at 1604 East Main Street in Rogersville, Tennessee, is a newly renovated community outreach center dedicated to serving middle school students and their families in the Hawkins County area. The 5,000 square foot building offers a variety of spaces for kids to engage in educational and fun activities designed to stimulate the mind and promote social emotional learning (SEL) and life skills. The dedicated staff members create detailed program activities to ensure that every child who comes to the center has a positive and enriching experience.

In addition to educational enrichment activities, the youth center also features a newly renovated kitchen that will be used to prepare and deliver nutritious meals to middle school students at the center and to 8 schools in Hawkins County. The goal of the center is to promote healthy spirit, mind, and body for all individuals by providing a safe and supportive environment for children and families to grow and thrive.

"I love this program!!!!! Oh My Goodness! I have one child in 6th grade and one child in 7th grade, they both have not missed a day since Brighter Horizons opened their doors!! The bus from school drops them right of at Brighter Horizons too. All the Counselors have such big hearts for all the students that come through their doors! My children love all the different activities that they offer. Love! Love! Love!"

"My father was taken to see the lord today and as the procession drove past these(all)were playing out front.Every child that was out front playing took a knee and quit what they were doing to show respect to my fathers passing. Thank you for showing these children what respect is. I also want to thank each child that showed respect. I will remember for as long as i live!!!!!!"
