"A return visit from Oct. case closed out without my follow up from Nov. Today Choice has determined that repair don’t qualify. Nothing has changed since the Oct inspection. Except from description today it sounded like damaged and tech tried to say it may sound like that, but that’s not it. However, his description was taken as damaged."

"Predatory business model. You agree to pay $99 for an initial assessment that is supposed to be waived if you conduct the suggested repairs, but then they come and provide a quote with unrealistic labor costs (3 times the materials costs) You are required to decide on the spot, and the technician is not allowed to tell you if they have the replacement parts in stock or when they can come back to do the job until you decide to go ahead with what they are proposing (so, basically, a time-blind decision). Terribly disappointed."

"The repair man was excellent! He cared. I was so upset because the next day was Thanksgiving Day and I had no refrigerator. He kept me calm and remained positive as he worked on the frig. He fixed it and I was so happy. Not just about the refrigerator but how he respected my feelings and just plain cared. I am so bad with names but hats off to my repair guy, because he was the best!"

"I was very impressed and pleased with my service today. By my description of the problem, the technician knew exactly where to look and what needed to be done. He communicated well with me during the whole time and answered every question to my satisfaction. He even helped me get up some of the water that was leaking. I valued his input on my options and was very satisfied with my final decision. When he learned I am a veteran, he stopped what he was doing and thanked me for my service. I would rate him "Excellent"!"
