Council Park & Pool

"One of the largest community Parks I've been to. It's laid out very nice and it has a very large community center. I've been to the pool also and it's very affordable. It's the least expensive of anywhere in the county."

"Great park. Clean, well managed, with pool, mini waterpark, picnic tables, covered shelters, bathrooms, grills, baseball field, tennis court, basketball court, walking track, and a creek. Ships, Trucks, and various wooden struts to play on. Various metal structures to play on. Swing and zipline toys. Community center to rent out for events that has a full kitchen, bathrooms, AC & heat."

"Had our family reunion here. Beautiful park, has nice facilities with shelter and restrooms for gatherings. Theres lots of different things for the kids, including different parks, and pool. Pool cost to get into to, but very reasonable."

"This place is a diamond in the middle of coal country. Very laid back and well maintained. If you're cycling USBR 76 and pass this place up for a night then you're too much in a hurry. Slow down, get some rest!"

"My kids absolutely LOVE this park....and so do I. It's very nice and well maintained as well as plenty of peaceful adult seating to sit comfortably while kids play (gazebos, covered "porch" style swings, etc) It's great with many different play areas and unique equipment."
