"BCS is a mixed bag. It has many wonderful things, and some that are not. The school is balanced in some of their academic offerings and offers opportunities for competitions such as ACSI run events. It is not however, completely wonderful as it is run by humans, and humans are fallible and make mistakes, and can be lazy, selfish and inconsiderate. We were there for three years, and it was ok. It was a lot of work, and we had hoped for better results after pouring out so much time and dedication for the school. The administration asks for a lot from parents, without necessarily giving back the same in return. The teachers are nice, but not all are effective in teaching as reach for academic excellence is not consistent from teacher to teacher. Our children are quick learners, and bright hard working students, but we had to work with them extensively in some areas to make sure they were capturing the content sometimes being rushed through. Very frustrating & disappointing! We realize no school is perfect, but if it's a Christian School, the heart of God must be there first from the TOP down. Otherwise, it's left to greedy, selfish, arrogant, & inconsiderate humans which will always disappoint."
