"One of the most affordable and best gyms in all of Richmond. The instruction has an old school bjj feel in a good way. There is a reliance on practical and efficient movements while also exploring newer bjj concepts. Many days, the lower belts are outnumbered by the upper belts. As a lower belt, I am lucky to learn from instructor Chris as well as many skilled peers. The energy in the gym is fun and relaxed. The gym is primarily hobbyists but also has a decent group of competitors and individuals who frequent the competition class. I saw one negative review regarding a refused refund. Two sides to every story, so just wanted to say Chris has helped me personally and other students get refunded when ending membership, moving, etc. (4 ish years here)"
