After one week of training BJJ and Muay Thai, it was obvious to me; this is the best gym in the area and possibly the state of Virginia. I say this with unwavering confidence. Compared to the other gym I went to, Revolution Ashland is in a league of its own. You will find friendly and welcoming members, knowledgeable and caring coaches, an accessible and straightforward curriculum, a strict and enforced mat/equipment cleaning policy, and most importantly a wholesome and inclusive gym culture as soon as you take your first steps into the building, ALL OF WHICH were lacking and/or nonexistent at the other big name gym I used to train at.
