"So glad I didn’t let this place touch my laptop! Lmaoooo all the five star reviews had me fooled: When I showed up the shop owner was speaking to another client so I hung back waiting my turn. But the minutes pass and their talking is getting more heated, the client was trying to explain that the screen they replaced 2 months ago was unresponsive in certain spots, that it belongs to her kids and they stopped playing with it so she didn’t notice the issue for a while, and the shop owner woman was scolding her about how it’s past the 30 day warranty, that she’s so lucky they’re trying to help her, that it’s not their screen that’s the issue but the metal plate underneath causing the problems (lol what), but she’s going to send it out to the tech and have them look at it anyway, and that she doesn’t even believe the woman, her story could be fake for all she knows. All of this with the most condescending tone and raising her voice this lady who was not responding in kind. The shop owner starts yelling at her that they tested it together in the store before she left and then segues into how it’s past 30 days so really she should be so grateful they’re even trying to help her. The woman was also confused that her iPad would get sent out for repairs. I also assumed that the shop owner woman did the repairs, since she states that this is her business, which was also why I brought my laptop there. The shop owner says that they only order parts before fixing it themselves in house but later on forgetting and telling the woman multiple times later that they’ll send her iPad out to get looked at. I guess she was really focusing on making sure this woman felt like garbage because after the woman said “if you talked like this to me on the beginning instead of being so nice it would’ve been a different story. The shop owner yells at her again that they’re going to help her before pointing to me saying she has other customers to attend to, and the woman reluctantly left her iPad to be fixed and went teary eyed to her car. I immediately left after and let the woman know I thought it was messed up the shop owner was yelling at her. Then the shop owner, no lie, comes out to yell at the woman some more about how she's ruining her business."

"Took my MacBook in to get my swollen battery replaced due to overcharging it. Very pleasant experience! The staff is very friendly as well. Walked in, explained my problem, and had my laptop back in about a weeks time. What I paid was reasonable as well! Definitely go back to TekRenu for all my computer problems and future needs."

"I’ve used TekRenu many times and they’ve never been anything other than totally professional and helpful. Judy has bent over backwards to help me. By reading the other reviews it seems like this sentiment is shared by all her customers. I saw the review by “L” who is not even a customer and was admittedly “not really listening” playing on her phone but claimed to know what’s going on well enough to write a review and scoff at MANY others who’ve had legitimate 5 star experiences. I wonder if “L” has ever had a retail business and understands that there are people who will try to take advantage of businesses if they can get away with it. I doubt it since L’s writing style leads me to believe she's intelligent, but juvenile at the same time. I would listen to the people who were actual customers like myself."

"I dropped my gaming laptop off with them to see if they could repair water damage and although my laptop had been damaged for months and was in really bad shape they were able to make it good as new!! I can’t believe it:) GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They we’re keeping me in the loop throughout the entire repair with photos, text and phone calls! Pricing was more than fair and I highly recommend!! "These guys are unbelievable and extremely kind people with great values that will help you in any way they can to ensure that what you need to be repaired can and will be repaired. I came in with a nonstandard device, a golf shot tracker, that needed a little micro soldering that nobody else in northern VA would touch. Every company I spoke with before contacting TekRenu told me that they would not work on my device without even looking at it. TekRenu not only took on the repair of a broken micro USB charging port and Lithium Poly battery replacement, but they also made some additional repairs that they felt could use some refreshing. These guys are ethical, kind, professional and extremely capable to take on whatever you need repaired. Give em a try, you won't regret it!!!"
