"Beautiful scenery! Walk the green way, play at the park, hang out in pavilions, catch a baseball or soccer game, and lots of trails to walk, run or bike on! Do a picnic in the field too!"

"This is one of the nicest playgrounds we've gone to in the area yet! There are so many different things for the kids to do and everything is in excellent condition. It's a really well maintained park. There were bathrooms over by the baseball diamond but we didn't try to use them so I'm not sure of their quality or if they're even available to use when there isn't a game."
"This is one of the larger parks in Roanoke County and seems to have plenty of room for everything! There are athletic fields, picnic shelters and a playground. Part of the Roanoke River Greenway runs through the park. There is also an equestrian center. Plenty of parking available. Best part may be the large open field at the entrance which is used for events like the Blue Ridge Kite Festival (photos attached)."
