"been to a fair share of tanning places in my life & this is buy far the worst. push products at a ridiculous level. do not cancel your membership when you ask. it’s all about $ money money money. please go somewhere else & LISTEN to these reviews! they are all the same ."
"I presented a promotion of which I wanted to take advantage of and one of the employees (perhaps he was the supervisor) behaved in a manner unprofessional, with a poor attitude and no sense of customer service. He proceeded to correct me on the terms of promotion when I only repeated what was actually written in the respective email sent to me by the company. He said “we had a managers meeting” and the terms of the promotion were changed. I, as a customer, obviously do not participate in such meetings; however, I cannot presume any other than what is in print. I’ve been to several locations and have always found the employees to be polite, respectful and practicing good customer service. This experience, while it may seem minor to some, has led to the loss of this customer. I will not recommend anyone to go the 21st location."
"The girls at the front desk were so rude, they weren't training the girl who obviously just started. The shorter one was helpful after my girl and 2 others asked when walking in and waiting on why noone was being placed in a bed. Then as others n myself left they didn't say anything to the customers they seemed like they were mad to be there."
"I had an amazing experience at the salon everyone there was welcoming inviting. As well as the place was always clean. Unfortunately there business side is very unprofessional and likes to squeeze every dime out of every person. I signed up my tanning experience was told I could cancel at anytime and could do it in the salon. We found out we were moving last minute and where we were going did not have sundays there. I went into the office and explained this and they said yes call this number and you can cancel your membership. So I was a little annoyed since I was told at the time of service I could cancel in the salon then later told I had to call. When I called no one picked up had to leave a voicemail. When they did call back they told me that they require a 30 day notice of cancelation and that I could “cancel anytime” but they need to know 30 days in advance and they would have to charge my next months tanning. I apparently was 8days away from that 30 day notice and so they would have to charge my next months credit card for a month of tanning I would not be able to use due to moving on such short notice! There policy’s seem a little ridiculous to give a 30 day notice when you just ran my credit card for this months tanning 8 days ago. It’s very sad that I had this ending experience since I did really enjoy all the service that I received at the salon. I would not recommend them due to this terrible financial situation to due their horrible policies that do not support or make it easy for their clients. Make sure you read the fine print !!"
"Tyler and team are amazing! I often come to tan after a long, stressful day at work and the atmosphere is so fun and upbeat. It’s not just the tan and relaxation that I come for, it’s the positive environment. You can tell that every single person who works here really enjoys it. My only recommendation would be for the last date of bulb change/rotation/cleaning be made a part of conversation from time to time. Sunday’s website states that the bulbs are changed at half life but it never gets talked about which should be a very important component of the sales presentation. I think it would help more people feel secure about what they are paying for and thus more willing to pay for the monthly/yearly memberships. That’s the biggest drawback I have is not knowing exactly how frequently the bulbs are changed, rotated and beds are broken down and vacuumed out. But overall, Sunday’s does a phenomenal job!"
