"We had our daughters 21st birthday celebration here and could not be more pleased. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We brought our own food which is allowed and the staff even placed the cake in their cold room until we were ready for it. There are two food trucks on site which we sampled the previous day while we were checking out the place to get the feel of it before our guests arrived the next day. We highly reccomend the steak fries. They even have a brewery for those who do not care for wine, which is a good bonus. And both days that we had visited there was live music. My only issue is the website form to get info on events or additional info on the vineyard can use some upgrading."

"Visited on a rainy fall day, but the winery's vistas were still enchanting. Friendly and helpful staff. Small amount of seating inside the winery, although if it wasn't for the rain there would be plenty of sitting space outside. Mostly tried the red wines. Pretty typical yet still good Virginia wines."

"This is a new favorite for us, having been several times now. The staff is always friendly, there is always plenty of space outside, and we always have a good time no matter the day or time. WRV and 1781 Brewery have a relaxed vibe, lots of shade, a hidden koi pond, roaming chickens, and sometimes there is music on the lawn. It's a nice spot for people of all ages (with a big play fort for the kiddos). We've tasted some wine flights, brews, and hard seltzers (all delicious). We've brought our own food and gotten bites from the food truck."

"This winery is paired with 1781 Brewing Company, so there’s plenty of variety for everyone. Very family friendly. There’s roosters and turkeys that roam in between the seats. They also have horses and goats. There’s an adults only area with a nice pond and plenty of seating. The views are fantastic. They have live performances on weekends. Dog friendly, but absolutely keep them on their leash with all of the birds around. It’s easy to miss driving in, so watch for the signs."

"I’ve been now several times. That atmosphere is great they really need to take care of the seating outside a little bit more. They allow you to both bring food in your own cooler or you can have it delivered we had it delivered from the pizza place they suggested. A little bit pricey but relaxing. The wine was good I prefer reds the red blends are amazing. Although I’ve had the peach and it was also good enough that I bought it as gifts for family."
