"I had such a great experience. I highly recommend to anybody who has any interest in history. The curated tour was absolutely worth it & you learn so much about the history of cameras not just pertaining to photography, but also other events in history & how cameras played a role. Thank you!"
"Here in Virginia on our honeymoon and this was one of our stops. So glad we went. David was very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable on the history of cameras. The “ Curator guided Tour” is a must! Don’t skimp out for a “self guided tour”"
"If you love photography and history, then you must visit this museum! So many fascinating cameras and pieces of history. Dave was incredibly knowledgeable and even gave me some great advice as a young photographer. I highly recommend the guided curated tour as that is for sure more bang for your buck compared to any other museum I’ve ever been to. So glad I went here, and I definitely will return."
"My partner & I visited the Camera Museum back in July and agreed it was a highlight of our stay. We were so glad that we asked the owner to give us a guided tour as we only would have had a fraction of the context and details without his guidance. We came away with a much better understanding of the history of photography and a greater appreciation for the technology of cameras. I disagree with the customer who did not like the questioning part of the tour. I found it kept me engaged and helped me to track the history. Delightful time!"
"Amazing hidden gem in Staunton Virginia! Admission is very reasonable and there are audio and personal tours available. I did the audio tour and it was well worth it. I learned a lot from both the audio tour and just talking to the proprietor, who is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. You'd be hard pressed to come up with a classic film camera where there isn't an example on display here. In addition to cameras, there are photos and other artifacts from photographic history that are all very interesting. If you are a photography buff and in the area or traveling through on interstate 81, this is a must see!"
