"I have been an avid equestrian for most of my life. So, needless to say, I've had my share of injuries. I first came to OC many years ago with pain so severe in my left hip, I could barely walk. My pain level was at a constant 10!! After finding Dr Whelan, I gradually began to walk straight again and gained back strength so I could function. I love her bedside manner and great staff also. In 2021 I caught Covid and was hospitalized for 2 months and given a 9% chance of survival. Most of my body had atrophied in those 2 months of being bedridden and on a ventilator for 10 days. And once again I couldn't walk. Home PT got me walking again, but my muscles and nerves were so damaged and weak, I still couldn't function properly. So after I was able to drive again, I went straight back to Dr. Eileen! And no surprise to me, she has gotten me back in shape once again. She's my hero for sure!!
