CrossFit Oyster Point

"I was down in the area for a few days for work and looking for a CrossFit not too far from the job site or hotel too drop in at, glad I found the time to get in at CrossFit Oyster Point! Sandi was above and beyond helpful with the drop in process and helping me exchange my shirt after I dropped in when I got the wrong size (I'm a large, I know I'm a large, no matter how big the large looks I am not a medium-and that's okay) and Bomba (sp?) ran a great and super friendly class, a little ice breaker but nothing too kitschy, and I even got to demo some movements for the class. When I was there they were doing Mayhem programming which made it even better as that's our programming at my home box so I could even log the same workouts as my crew back home. If/when I'm back in the area I'll definitely stop by again! Oh, and there was a dog in the class after mine-Maggie-very sweet, wants all the attention and belly rubs 11/10"

"I love OP. CrossFit is known for their sense of community, but OP is much more than that. You feel part of the family. Even my kids love to go! One of my huge draws to OP when I first joined in 2018 was their “kid-friendly” atmosphere. The kids (all ages) have a space where they can safely watch you workout or just hang and watch tv. Most of the kids love coming with their parents because they know the other “friends” are showing up too! My daughter is 10 now and has participated in the kids camps, private training and every now and then… joins me for a “partner” workout. The owners and staff are extremely professional and personable. I couldn’t imagine life without my OP family."

"CrossFit Oyster point is an amazing gym! I was only visiting Newport News for a week but the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home, and the regular members were super friendly. Also, the coaches really helped me out with some of the skills. Even though I wasn't a regular member they took the time to offer pointers with certain movements. I will DEFINITELY be visiting them again the next time I'm in town. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!"
