"They have some decent prices on items. In general, a good selection. But their customer service is... subpar. We'll be going to Stuller first, SEFindings second, and MAYBE check Hoover & Strong after that, but not on anything time-critical, as they just don't DO time-critical. Slowest supplier I've used, and when you contact them to ask why things are so slow, they grumble and make it sound like actually shipping out items is doing you a favour. Seriously... if they were the only game in town, I'd understand that attitude. But they're not. It's inexcusable"

"I have been using this company Hoover & Strong for 20+ years now. I will Never use them again. Last year before my Xmas rush they sent me several hundred dollars worth in bad solder karat gold. They said ship it back we will refund you...after i called in twice to see about anyone else having problems with their solder.....! they finally admitted they released a bad batch and no way to tell which batch it was.... They returned the scrap gold portion of solder but kept their labor charges on it...... fast forward a few more months .... I found another bad piece of solder.... I am the 2nd generation buyer from this company/ grew up using their solder and products.... Never AGAIN BENCH JEWELERS BE AFRAID!!!!!!"

"I worked for this company for nearly a year with a group of college friends. Not a single person stayed because of the complete and utter lack of humanity and respect for the employees that make the jewelry. The people who run this company do so poorly and to the detriment of their employees. Employees that are treated like criminals and upper management makes these people's lives hell."
