"I rarely leave reviews but my recent experiences here were awful enough to prompt me to write one. Late last year I tried to refill a prescription by phone to be met with radio silence as to pickup. I ended up calling and speaking to a pharmacist who told me they had to order the medication and didn’t when it would arrive—but they never bothered to tell me. I ended up running out and had to wait several days for a CVS nearby to fill it. I chalked it up to a supply chain issue and didn’t think much more about it. However, I recently switched medical providers and had a new prescription for a medication I’ve been taking for a while sent over. I still had one refill left on my prior Rx for the same medication, but the app was not letting me refill either. I stopped in to the CVS right when it opened to speak with a pharmacist and I couldn’t believe my experience. I wasn’t sure whether to go to the pick up or drop off counter, so I just approached the only employee at the front, who happened to be at the pickup counter. I explained my issue and she pointed at the drop off counter and said “drop off counter.” I stepped three feet to the side to the counter and just stood there, with no one coming to help me until the pick up person sighed and stepped over to again ask me what I needed. She looked my info up but couldn’t resolve the issue, so she called a colleague. Here is where the real issue began—this new colleague could not have been more rude and dismissive of my questions. She kept insisting there was no problem, even though I was still unable to request any refills on either prescription. She then told me it was due to an insurance change (there had been no changes) and would not listen to me. I asked her if she didn’t see a problem on her end, if she could just refill it. She said that I wouldn’t be able to fill it until I had 3-4 days left. I mentioned the supply issue last time and that I was concerned about waiting that long. She again just told me to try again in a few days. I was so frustrated that I just walked out. I am not sure what may have happened after I left, but several hours later I received an unsolicited phone call from the pharmacy apologizing and stating they could fill the Rx after all. I said okay, and then—somewhat predictably—she said “oh, it’s out of stock. We have to order it.” I pointed out that that had been part of my concern, but she promised to place the order and let me know when it arrived or to find a CVS that did have it in stock. Five days later I still hadn’t heard, and both the automated phone menu and app indicated that they were still awaiting shipment. I finally got a human on the phone and a pharmacist checked to see if it had arrived, and it had…but no one had bothered to tell me or fill my Rx. I am just blown away at the lack of professionalism and customer service at every stage of what should have been a very simple process. Thankfully, I started asking questions with two weeks left on my prescription—otherwise I’d be in a tough spot (again). I’ll be transferring my Rxs elsewhere and warning everyone to avoid this location."
"Beware: the pharmacy staff is not concerned about customer privacy and is carefree about shielding your medical history and information from other patrons waiting in the service area. Additionally, the employees seem to lack general organization skills, which causes them to have to release private information or shout that information out as they try to search for medications. I would suggest a more competent pharmacy to fill your prescriptions. I definitely will avoid this pharmacy moving forward."
"This guy named Jim wanna be all rude when I asked him where the Tylenol was and while I was talking to him another employee came to help and he asked if he needed her help and told her to be useful for once, like what!?! he needs to be fired asap nobody deserves to be talked to like that."
"been waiting for a month for a call back to see if my prescription was ready, was basically forced to listen to "we never refilled it here and we don't have your name on record, call somewhere else sorry" when I called previously to transfer the script and was told everything was fine and I could still pick it up. now im screwed basically :D"
"Worst pharmacy. They never have enough people here. They need Pharmacists. They need employees behind the counter that don’t talk to you like they are burdened and annoyed with customers. There is never fewer than 5 people in line waiting….. always waiting. The front of the store employees are amazing and ver nice. CVS is making money hand over fist. They treat their Pharmacists like they are doing them a favor by letting them work there. even though the Pharmacist's probably have more education than any executives making decisions at corporate."
