"This seems like an old property. The rooms are old and toilets have that old moldy smell. It worked out for us location wise during our road trip. It’s a pet friendly hotel and staff is friendly as well."

"My boyfriend and I were in town for a wedding and wanted something close and reasonable in price. For what we paid it was great deal! Our room was large with a lot of space and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the white linens did not have a blemish. I was greeted by Kevin at the front desk and he was wonderful. He quickly found my booking and checked me in promptly while giving me all the information about the hotel. We had breakfast in the morning and my boyfriend and I were happy with what we saw, they had a large breakfast with many options. The coffee, food, and fruit tasted very fresh. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be coming back! 10/10 recommend!"

"We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place Richmond/Chester. The staff were exceptionally nice while being very helpful and remaining professional. Their demeanor was welcoming. The hotel and room were clean, and beds were comfortable. We didn't get to try the breakfast, but hope to stay here again so that we can! Wawa and Taco Bell are in the same lot as the hotel along with other restaurants. McDonald's and another gas station/convenience store were just across the street. The location was very convenient to the highway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel for travelers."

"Stayed at the Hyatt for 2 nights to visit family nearby. Had a king bed and pull out sofa. Room was truly a great size, more than enough room. We had a fridge, microwave, and safe. Bed and pillows were comfortable and water was always hot and water pressure was the best Ive experienced. Breakfast was good. And the location was so convenient. My bathroom at one point of my stay had a cockroach. The paint was chipping badly on one end of the room. And checkout was not a smooth as I’ve experienced at other hotels. Overall a decent stay but not for the price."
