"The reason for the two stars is for the prices. They charged us 5 hrs of labor for a lower window trim. They guy was nice and everything but super slow. He left the house for two hour to get a piece of builder grade trim and we have a Lowe’s and Home Depot both within a mile from our house. They told us he had to go to a lumber shop?! The issue when someone works by the hour they stretch the time as much as possible. Which is super unfair for the clients. Our job turned out to be simple and they handyman was honest about it and we appreciate that but to extend working hour is so ridiculous. I wish I had told him to stay put and went and go the things myself would have saved me $400. They are way to expensive. Ended up paying $700 for a lower window trim change and some puffy and 1 ft x1ft of paint of the ceiling."

"I have had my experiences with bad contractors over the years, esp the one recommended by Weber. I found Ace Hanover/Henrico doing a google search and they had really good reviews. I must say I was skeptical; however, the booking experience with Bernie and the actual experience with Greg was exceptional. They were responsive, showed up on time, did the work I hired them to do and he knew what he was doing - fixing things that other "contractors" could not (all that should always be the case). He assembled a Weber smart grill, fixed a fire table, fixed a door that would not latch and converted a rail on a landing so that it opens. I will definitely be using them again when I pile up a day's worth project. Soooo happy and less stressed."

"Excellent first experience. Greg called the night before my appointment to discuss the job, showed up a bit early, and his work was outstanding. The job involved installing a new door assembly for an outside door to my garage. Greg was thorough and did an amazing job. Also helped with an issue on a different door. The appointment process by phone was easy and the person I spoke with was friendly and professional. Dylan showed up promptly and we had a discussion about the work of replacing our wooden front steps and PVC railings. He chose the wood for the steps and we chose the railings. The work took just under 2 days and turned out great. We're proud of our front steps and improved curb appeal."
