"A real Koryu kenjutsu school with authentic lineage directly to a Japanese ryu . I originally attended as a monthly student for four years . I would commute once or twice a month from Boston Massachusetts to learn and then study at home in Boston .My first year I signed up after taking Keppan (interview process ) ,and having been accepted was in Japan only months after beginning study there . The people at this school have become a core group of friends to me . Everyone here is great to practice with . Welcoming atmosphere with opportunity for any practitioner who wishes to learn . A very dedicated group …. During Covid practice continued outside even in the middle of the winter In january , I was happy because I got to continue studying this art which I have come to love and be passionate about . Also after that four years I saw how I advanced in study ,and now have decided that if I gained as much knowledge as I had commuting then living closer would be better . I have come to love this art so much I have now moved local to the school so I can study more deeply and frequently . Over the four years I have attended two bi annual seminars in Tokyo Japan . And one in Napa California at an aikido dojos 40th anniversary. There are as many as four seminars comming up this late winter / early spring on the Eastern United States."
