My coach tailored a course of instruction specific to my swing needs, worked with me to establish reasonable goals, was patient and made each lesson fun. It’s been a lot of work, but I’m very pleased with the progress I’ve made. Highly recommend GolfTec Alexandria!"

"I purchased a golf lesson back in December of 2022. The waiting list is months long and GOLFTEC coaches have canceled on me week-of three times in a row. Coaches are only available during traditional work hours so I have had to schedule PTO or make other work accommodations to get in for an appointment, only to be cancelled on the week of the scheduled lesson. It is now October 2023 and I still have not been able to get in for a lesson. Based on other positive reviews here, I’m sure the lessons themselves are great and helpful… if they aren’t cancelled."

"They use the same methods with every golf swing, body composition, etc. The super strong grip, swing path inside to create a draw, and then clean up the aftermath. Not ideal for every golfer out there. I spent a ton of money while my strokes on the course stayed the same. I found another golf coach, and two lessons later, I shot my best score in two years. Consider golftec as the McDonald's of golf lessons. Find you a golf coach that is more interested in your improving your game versus getting you to sign up for more lessons."

"Biggest regret is waiting til I was 45 to receive my first golf lesson. I’ve been a frustrated hack at golf for 25+ years. Lessons with Eric have been great. After each session (6 so far) I leave with one new improvement to work on. It’s not overwhelming for me. Now I’m playing more golf, enjoying golf more than ever, losing less balls and more importantly, it’s not a mystery where each shot will end up. If only I started this 10 years ago…"

"The swing evaluation was great. My initial intent was to purchase the largest instruction package. I decided to give them a chance and decided let me start small and if works I'll upgrade to the larger package. We planned all the lessons, I put them in my calendar. It went downhill from there. The following week, I get an email confirmation the day before to confirm the 1st lesson, and in the morning of the lesson they emailed me to cancel because the instruction had an emergency. They did not replace the instructor. I was understanding, let's wait a couple of weeks for the next lesson (that would have been today). I got the email confirming the lesson yesterday, and again, today in the morning I get another email canceling the lesson because the instructor had a family emergency. I request a full refund, and the Center Manager calls me and tells me that the refund will take 30 days to be approved, and then a few days to go into my bank.... And that they will charge me for the swing evaluation session.... What a terrible service!"
