The supervisor/manager (Melissa) is extremely helpful and intentional with providing the best care to the kids. "We have a daughter that is in the toddler class and she absolutely loves going to school everyday. She is a sponge and I am amazed at all the things she comes home and tells me about. They have worked really hard with her to get her potty trained and she really has improved in just the last few months. They have an awesome new coordinator who is very personable and professional. The owner of the school has actually sat down with my daughter, when she was sad and sang with her in Portuguese (my daughter is bilingual). I thought that was so cool. They have a new app where they send updates throughout the day and sometimes pictures. I look forward to those updates everyday. They are clean, professional and most importantly they genuinely care for my daughter. I 100% trust them with her and I am grateful to have found faces of the future."

"Both my younger children attended and my younger one still does attend this lovely school in Powhatan. I have never left for work and had to worry about the care being provided to my babies or whether they would feel loved and supported while I was at work. I know everyone there by name including the owner and can count on them for anything my children need. I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else! Best school around!"

"I would recommend this daycare to anyone! They are one of the most reasonably priced and affordable childcare facilities around and I visited A LOT before I made my decision to enroll my daughter here. They are a Christian based facility and teach the children manners and to say grace before their meals. The facility is very clean which was very important to me when I was looking for a full time daycare for my daughter. Every staff member is very respectful and aware of what's going on at all times. They have video cameras in every room for security and accountability purposes and you can only enter the facility with a fob key. I have never had any major issues with any of the staff or any incidences with other children and my daughter. Whenever there is an issue (no place is perfect) the staff are very quick to resolve the matter even if it means taking a child up to the front office to sit awhile and calm down so the other children can continue to learn. They send home completed work every Friday so that you can see what your child has been learning and working on. Also, if your child doesn't complete the work in class, they send it home and strongly encourage the parents to finish the work with their child. I can honestly tell that they have each child's best interest at heart and want to make sure that all the children thrive and are Kindergarten ready. They have a HUGE outside play area for the children that is gated off with a large fence. They also have a separate play area for toddlers so the bigger kids don't accidentally hurt the little ones. Before Covid-19 happened, one of my favorite things were the Holiday concerts that the children would perform for the parents. Since Covid has happened, the facility has never faltered and immediately took precautions to keep the children safe. My husband and I work full time and we know we can rely on this facility to suit our work schedules. I can honestly say I never worry about my daughter when she is at daycare and that is such a good feeling to have as a parent."
