"From the outside, Wine Warehouse looks unassuming, almost forgettable - do not be fooled! Inside you'll find wines, beers and ports with a selection and quality enough to satisfy every palate and every budget, with plenty of the familiar as well as unexpected niche wines that will become favourites. We were lucky enough to drop by while TC was working and benefit from his extensive knowledge, which led us to some impressive Spanish wines we might have overlooked otherwise. Whether for your own beverage needs or a party pleaser, Wine Warehouse is where you want to go!"

This store boasts an extensive collection of wines, meticulously organized by country, allowing wine enthusiasts to explore a diverse range of flavors and styles. Additionally, they offer an impressive selection of craft beers and ciders for those with varied tastes, local ones too. One standout feature is the inclusion of narrative descriptions for each box of wine, adding a personal touch and helping buyers make informed choices."

"If you are looking for a unique, wide-ranging selection of wines in the Charlottesville area, this is your place. First, a bit of an embarrassing confession: My wife and I first began looking or an outlet of Total Wine, the national chain based near our home in Maryland, doing a search online. There wasn't an option during our weekend trip, so we decided to give Wine Warehouse a visit. We were happy that we did. Once inside, you'll see mostly cases of wine stacked upon one another along with some beverages on shelves and a tasting area in a back corner. As the person at the check-out counter told us during our 15 or 20 minutes here, there's a small staff working at this family-owned business, and they make it a point to hunt for wine that isn't generally of the "grocery store" variety as he put it. I think that is true. We saw very few brands that we were familiar with, which was fine. This particular day, they were sampling some wine from a nearby vineyard (there are so many around this part of Virginia). There's wine from all over the world and the U.S. with a variety of price points. If you are just looking for very inexpensive wine, this might not be your place. If you are looking for something unique, with a story or two behind it, this is definitely your place. Parking is easy just outside the front door. Recommended!"

The Wine Warehouse has some great bottles from different regions all around the world that you normally can't get a hold of (especially at a grocery store). The pricing for a lot of their surplus isn't bad either. Definitely a fun experience to visit and learn about their stock and THEY ALSO HAVE BEER FROM other brewers"

The pricing for a lot of their surplus isn't bad either. Definitely a fun experience to visit and learn about their stock and THEY ALSO HAVE BEER FROM DIFFERENT BREWERIES! I have had mostly great experiences with majority of the staff but on one occasion there was a run in with an employee/manager where I felt like I wasn't being taken seriously from the go. This led to not getting the assistance that I was accustomed to from Wine Warehouse and also not getting the recommendation that I was asking for from that individual. I was interested in trying a certain unfamiliar varietal and was seeking this wine in a certain price range. My range was never asked and I was given a bottle $7 bottle of wine that he preferred. I was ready to spend anywhere from $20-$50 if the bottle was worth it but ended up carrying the $7 bottle to the counter. I was later given a heads up by someone else to put that bottle back where I got it from if you get what I am saying. That stellar individual guided me to great bottles of wine and made my most recent visit much better. Kudos to that employee. Other than this I would still say visit Wine Warehouse for sure!"
