Reviews of Carter Jones Park
"Awesome spot for kids!!! Our daughter really enjoyed running from the swings to the various slides and climbing on everything!!! Wish there were more kids out playing this morning!"
"Love this park! The playground is so great for the kids and has a good variety of playground type equipment. Everything is pretty new, the mulch and surrounding areas is clean, no litter laying around. Seating is rather limited for adults on a busy day but get you a chair or a blanket and pop a squat! Highly enjoyed the experience every time we've been."
"This park, now officially called Fonticello Park, has been receiving a lot of love from local families and neighbors. A brand new kid-friendly playground was just installed and lots of new improvements are on their way. It really is becoming a gem on the Southside!"
"This park is old and charming in a way, but very unkempt and in dire need of an update, which supposedly is coming soon. The park has a wide variety of facilities, but many of them are closed or in disrepair. The food forest in the back of the park is a nice contrast to the concrete wasteland and very cozy."
"Went to check out the skate park early on a Saturday morning. I was the only person there. It's pretty standard, a half pipe drop in, kicker box, and a couple moveable rails. Good condition on the concrete, hardly any cracks and its smooth. I'd imagine gets a bit crowded at peak hours. Rest of the park is clean and well kept. Few people walking dogs. No parking in the park though, just park on the street and walk in."
