Short Pump Park

"This park is great because it has hoses hooked up with water bowls, astroturf so no mud, a bone shaped plastic pool, and a sprinkler in the big dog area. Because of the astroturf sometimes it can get real stinky. Full blown wet dog mixed with dog urine stank. I'd say most of the dog owners are respectful and keep their dogs in line, but you get the occasional Karen with a dog who isn't good with other dogs and she just lets it snap at other dogs and labels it as "shy". -_- I see this every third time or so. You also get the occasional wild child running around begging to be seen as prey, bitten, then creating a lawsuit. Otherwise, it is mostly good behaved dogs and decent folks."

"Really nice park! My grandson and I stumbled on the park while in Short Pump for lunch. We had a great time at the playground and on such a hot day my grandson had a blast in the fountain play area. Plus there's a really nice fenced dog park sectioned for sm/lg dog sizes, each with a dog pool!"

"Amazing park for regulars to Short Pump or visitors. Grab food from a nearby restaurant and enjoy the park, pollinator garden, splash pad (summer time). The dog park is a “must do” for dog owners, but fun to watch them all interact. Great overall park in the heart of Short Pump, VA."

"The play ground is nice, has plenty of things to do...a nice, spacious gazebo. Dog friendly with plenty of runs to choose from. Football, baseball fields. Has restrooms near the gazebo towards the school next door. The trash could be picked up a little better."

"It's a great place. There is a kid's park, where kids can play around. Also there are playgrounds for dogs. Everything is free. There is a 0.6 miles long path through the park, surrounded by trees, also places to seat. There's also a labyrinth for meditation. It's awesome."
