"We have been so impressed with Kicks Karate. All of the instructors who lead the classes are incredible with the kids. They strike a great balance between managing silly behaviors, but also being encouraging and fun. Our son has been thriving in the classes and is always excited to go. I think that enrolling him is one of the best things that we could have done for him and has really boosted his self confidence."

"I can’t speak highly enough of the instructors at kicks karate and how well they work with children. They are truly awesome with kids! Our favorite class is Mr Josh’s class and Mr Ryan, Mr Walter, and Mr Brandon all play a key role in guiding the kids. They take the time to truly get to know each student, figuring out what they're good at and where they could use a bit of a boost. Discipline, self-control, respect, and boundaries are all on the agenda, all the while keeping the whole atmosphere and tone positive. They show utmost patience and kindness… even I’m getting lessons. I don’t know how they do it."

"Really good experience here with my two daughters. Kicks really emphazises learning self-respect and discipline but with a positive spin. Some of the classes can be a bit crowded but they have limited space and it speaks to their popularity. "After twenty-seven years, our time at Kicks Karate is coming to an end. It's not them - we're moving out of the area. We've studied under Master John Bussard, the one and only Master Mike Brown, watched Lee Anderson evolve from a fellow student of our seven year old son into a Grand Champion and Master in his own right. Learned about the kinder gentler side of karate from Mr. Ndimby Rakotondrazaka and Mr. Ben Palker. Our son learned the great truths of life (don't block with your face, bend your knees, and best way to get out of that situation, don't get into that situation) - and learned the focus, concentration, and persistence that got him through a PhD program. This old guy went from 20 years between organized sports to being able to do more at age 67 than he could at age 41. And kickboxing gave my wife the boost she needed after a bout with chemo and radiation. Thanks Kicks Karate. Can't recommend them enough!"

"Great staff, great training. They start young and focus on discipline. First time listening. The staff truly care about your kids and do fun mother's day and father's day activities. They also don't cost too much. Well worth it, especially if your kid is restless."
