Reviews
"It took two weeks to get an interview as a prospective new customer. After the call, I never got a follow up call, email or any contact. Looks like I will be staying with my current advisor"
"Frank Sanchez, one of your senior financial planners, is a con-artist who scammed a retired special needs teacher out of $1000 when he stayed in a vacation rental and lied to the hosting platform to get a refund. Despicable person who has no honor. I wouldn’t trust him with a nickel of your hard-earned money."
"Pathetic customer service Been with them for 20 years and they are now "transitioning" which means endless forms to fill out, surley agents to deal with and delays everywhere. I get the hint and will be moving my accounts to more efficient brokerage service."
"In Transitioning an absolute disaster experience. No on line Friday8-26 and Monday 829 for 5 hrs. Get thru and they transfer you. Same thing, starting over and over again. Absolutely themost terrible ex[erience. Frustrating. Easier to cancel my account and stop my October deposit,"
"Improper acceptance of springing power of attorney: Andrew Ordemann was my uncle’s Vanguard relationship manager and he improperly accepted a springing power of attorney from my step mother without medical documentation. By his acceptance of this improperly used springing power of attorney, my uncle was unable to access his investments at Vanguard and make changes to his beneficiary designations which resulted in over a million dollar loss to his estate. The circuit court of Mobile, Alabama assigned an investigator that discovered that the springing power of attorney was not valid and should not have been accepted by Vanguard. I can provide the final report of this investigation that was conducted by a court appointed attorney to anyone at Vanguard who cares to review to take corrective actions to prevent this from happening again to other elderly Vanguard clients who might be vulnerable to being exploited by dishonest family members."
