"Ford’s Wood Park is another very nice park that’s hard to get to but when you get there it’s well worth it. I’m so thankful I have such a small rv. This park is spacious. It has a few of covered areas and plenty of space for the kids to play especially when there’s a birthday party. While taking the girls on a walk I noticed a couple of people who lived beside the park take interest in the dogs. I told them how beautiful their neighborhood was and they said they thought my dogs were beautiful too. Everything was beautiful at this park."
"A very clean and well kept park with a variety of play equipment. Surrounded by residential homes, this park has a little sense of safety. I had no second thoughts letting my son and nephew play here. If I'm in the area again we will probably visit it again."
"I have had kids birthday parties here, used to take my kids to play it used to be great. Today in appearance, it's still a beautiful park with playground and decent picnic areas with grills. BUT sadly, due to drug problems and homeless people in our area it's went down hill. Would not recommend for night time strolls, watch out for needles, they've turned off the outlets & locked up the bathroom to stop people from loitering, sad."
"Wish they had a little more to do, but I'd rather visit this park than any other. I love they still have the grills, and it's big enough for gatherings (when we're able to do more of those)."
"Great place where it wasn't crowded and we had fun. Kicked around a soccer ball for a while before moving to the slides and 'jungle gym' area. The sand in that particular area left a lot to be desired though. Cedar chips, or chipped rubber would be much better for health reasons. Sand attracts animals who use sand as their litter box. But otherwise, it was great! Lots of space!"
