"Wondering why there are no programs for assistance with spay and neuter of pets. You would think that controlling the population of stray animals would assist in the reduction of animals, which would decrease the cost of animal control to house stray and unwanted animals. Unwanted animals are euthanized after 14 days in a shelter if not sooner depending on age and health. Especially females. Tired of seeing animals dumped on the roads? Do something to help owners with the cost of spay and neutering of their pets. Every other county in Virgina have programs in place to offer reduced costs of spay and neutering. Why not this county?"
"A dog was back in a cage with an eye all messed up & full of infection. It was there for adoption. Why didn't the poor dog get medical treatment before being put in there for adoption? He didn't have a chance to find a home like that."
