"my husband and i brought our 3 year old daughter to get her ears pierced , she was the one who asked for it unfortunately she got scared when we arrived there and we put her in the piercing chair . fortunately we had an awesome employee Brittany who calmly talked with our girl made her laugh and assured her she would take care of her . Brynlee willingly allowed her to pierce both ears and gave her a hug at the end ! i recommend claire's at valley view, Brittany did amazing and the cashier was fun and friendly spirited."

"We came in today and had a very negative experience with Mary Beth. I found a notebook that my daughter would love, but it was damaged. I approached her and asked her politely if they happened to have anymore since it was the only one I saw. She was so abrasive in her response telling me no. I just ignored it and then asked if I could get a discount if I bought the damaged one. She told me she would do 20% off but she was rolling her eyes and heaving deep breaths like I had asked her for a kidney. I showed her the damage and she said "I could just tear those pages out and sell it like that" and walked away while I was still talking to her. It was really unbelievable how rude she was over something so minor and to someone who was treating her politely with dignity. Her badge stated she had been there eleven years; perhaps she is burned out working retail with the public. I told her at checkout that I hoped her day got better. Clearly she was having a bad one, or perhaps she is just an unpleasant person all the time? I walked across the mall into the shoe store where two cashiers both greeted me cheerfully with smiling faces and said "Welcome to the Shoe Department!" Perhaps you could hire one of them or have them retrain Mary Beth."
