Jefferson Center
About the Business
The Jefferson Center, located at 541 Luck Avenue Southwest in Roanoke, Virginia, is a renowned institution that hosts a variety of events and workshops for music lovers and aspiring musicians. Recently, the center had to cancel a show due to COVID concerns, but they are working diligently to process refunds for ticket holders. In June 2022, singer-songwriter Margaret Glaspy conducted a songwriting workshop with Music Lab students, providing them with valuable tools for their craft. Another memorable moment at the Jefferson Center was when Jayna Elise and Gabe Morales opened for The Wooten Brothers in Shaftman Performance Hall. The Wooten Brothers, known for their support of music education, also conducted a workshop for students before the show. For more information about events and tickets, you can contact the Jefferson Center's Box Office at 540.345.2550 or their main office at 540.343.2624. Toll-free assistance is also available at 866.345.2550.

Reviews
"One of the nicest we'll organized places I've ever been to a concert. The people that organized it were just awesome. And the sound quality was excellent some of the best acoustic I've ever heard. And the Dan Tyminski band is the absolute best band I've ever had the pleasure to see in person and I loved the show and I'll definitely be seeing them again."
"This was such a great venue to see the Nutcracker ballet! The historic building was a large draw in choosing this performance. The seats were great on the balcony. We were in row E and had a great view. However, the row in front had more leg room."
"It is a nice, intimate venue with good acoustics. They get a wide variety of music and entertainment. The Music Lab, which teaches all things music from production to marketing to playing and recording is really nice. Music Lab has an open mic once a week which is a great place to go and get input and experience in a very relaxed environment."
"Nicely remodeled school auditorium. It is not very friendly for those with mobility issues. The auditorium is quite a distance from the entrance. Ticketing process is antiquated. You have to wait in line for printed tickets at the on call window. Performance was excellent!"
