"I went to Explore Park on Friday night and listened to live music on the lawn of Brugh Tavern. It was incredibly enjoyable. My husband, friends, and I have visited many venues to hear music and Explore Park is by far the best location in the area. There is ample parking, lots of shade, plenty of lawn space and many tables. The location is ideal for couples on a date or families with children to enjoy a nice evening. The food at Brugh Tavern was delicious and the libations from Twin Creeks Brewery are amazing as usual. My only complaint is that this venue is under utilized! Please have music at Explore Park more than once a month and also consider extending the schedule into October!"
"We've worked with the City Parks and Rec on a LOT of projects over the years and they deserve a lot of credit especially when it comes to outdoors related stuff. They've embraced the hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and other communities like few parks departments have."
