"Was visiting for a family function. Loved the vibe and the shaded areas. Clean park area. The Juneteenth Festival was amazing. Great Food and Desserts, Big shout out for the rubber maid storage lemonade vendor the Lemonade was causing park drink vibes. The tropical ice cream vendor was giving off the Island Vibes atmosphere smooth and real nice. Eberechi Essentials Owner educated me in CBD Topical oils for Pain. Thank you King for the enlightening. The music was fabulous and they catered to All ages. As always we never disappoint in musical inappropriate language in a festival but the All in All It was a nice flow and it had the remembrance of Ancestors Vibes. I was impressed with the slingshot riders and the overall experience while in Roanoke. I look forward to coming again."

"love this space nice playground, basketball court, and tennis court was there for Juneteenth vendor event and just an all around celebration to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US. Was at a table for the NAACP youth council to Register people for voting!!"

"This is a beautiful municipal park. It doesn't necessarily have all the large playgrounds seen else where but there are plenty of wonderful grass covered acres for kids to run and play in. All covered with many large trees. Restrooms, a baseball field, basketball courts (1 even indoors) and picnic areas just beg to be used by this friendly neighborhood. The park is clean and from all appearances enjoyed by a lot of families."
