Reviews
"Great acoustics in the performing arts auditorium! All seats have a wonderful view of the stage. Saw the Cville Band today with over 80 musicians!"
"The musical my mother and I saw did not tell the complete story of the Mtn people. Older theater, stating was OK, nothing to bragging about. The wouldn't let u be seated until the clock struck 7:30, crazy!!! Will not return."
"A beautiful, amphitheater type auditorium with no center isles. Seats are accessed from stairs on either side and the stage lies at the bottom of the room. The acoustics and views are such that each seat is perfectly situated no matter where it is. An art gallery and commons area surround the upper floor around the auditorium. Highly recommended!"
"At a performance 16 June by the Charlottesville Day School's Theater Camp, a very helpful staff member escorted my husband, who uses a cane and poorly tolerates steps, and I to enter early and use the elevator to get close to the stage. Hanging microphones would have helped us hear the softer spoken children. Impressive theater."
"What a nice theater! All the seats are good, not a bad one in the house. Easy access from I-64, to avoid the traffic in Charlottesville. Ample parking. Quite a few stairs to get in from the front of the building. I didn't notice if there was handicapped access or an elevator. Only one women's lavatory & one men's. They are on opposite sides of the auditorium. Would be better if there were two, one on each side. No concessions, just a drink vending machine."
