"This park has access to the Greenway and the South River which is really nice. There is a playground, pavilion with picnic tables, and a large grassy area. There also is an area for pollinators. The only thing is it can be loud at this park."
"A great playground with limited shade for the playground itself, but about 50% coverage for your car. Has a reservable pavilion, river access, a prominent baseball field, basketball court, and ample lawn space for running around. The playground is clean but also facing some need for repair. Lots of trashcans and a couple of water fill stations. Much less populated than other parks in Waynesboro"
"Nice park. My son plays baseball here,in spring even if its warm and you have an evening game bring a jacket being close to the water it chills the air quick as the sun starts to sink. Excited for the extended trail to be completed. Loved the red clover along the path in full bloom! My kids and I poked our heads into an opening in the heavy canopy along the trail and found it littered with what looked like someone had been camping out or spending a lot of time in there... that was concerning! I hope lighting along the path has been considered to keep things like that at bay."
