"Awful place. I dropped 2 Husqvarna saws (one 240, that wouldn’t stay idling, and one 450, that wouldn't oil the chain) off on March 9 and was told 2-3 week turn around. I called on week 3 looking for a status update. They told me someone set my saws in the wrong pile and that they hadn’t even looked at them yet. A few days later I called again and was told that my small saw was fixed. I went to pick it up and test it outside and it still wouldn’t stay idling longer than 5-10 seconds even though the tag on my saw said it had been worked on and load tested…. I took it back inside and spoke with the technician, Angel, who worked on my chainsaw where another technician laughed at me and said you have to let it warm up first (as if me trying to start it in the parking lot for 15 minutes wasn’t warming it up enough). I let Angel try and start it, to which he couldn’t and said that it obviously wasn’t fixed. I leave it for them to fix where they only wasted my time and money. Both my saws are not working AGAIN. But I guess that’s my fault for not testing it longer since the first time I picked my saw up it wasn’t fixed correctly either. The technicians have no clue what’s going on. If your chainsaws are broken I highly recommend driving a bit out of your way to another reputable dealership because this place is not it."
"Outdoor Power Equipment on Warwick Blvd merging with Grand Rental Station sadly means they hiked up their prices tremendously! For my mower repair, labor costs increased 3x and parts increased 6-fold! I've had various simple mower repairs (cables replaced) & services (i.e. oil change, spark plugs, blades sharpened) performed on the same mower at Outdoor Power beginning in 2019 before the new ownership, which were all very reasonably priced. And, I had the same exact repair this month (4/2023) as in 2020 but I was charged 4x (labor & parts), not much less than a NEW mower would cost me! And, a simple repair took 4 weeks to complete when it was estimated 2 weeks. I called after 2 weeks of hearing no updates to find out they were waiting on the 2 small parts. I asked WHEN they were ordered & HOW MUCH the parts cost but the answer was, "I can't know that. It's a different department.". Only to shockingly find out in another 2 weeks that MY charge for the parts were incredibly inflated! I expected prices to increase somewhat compared to 2 years ago due to the pandemic & EVERY BUSINESS hiking up prices taking advantage of that, but not to this extent! When the mower was picked up, I was told otherwise about the cost after I referred to their charges from previous years for same repairs. If I had known upfront that not to be the case anymore, then I would've taken my mower elsewhere. After much insistence from me, the labor costs were at least reduced, the total costs still more than twice what I paid in 2020. I do VERY much appreciate that they still provide mower pick up & drop off as they always did before the merger w/Grand Rental & those two gentlemen were friendly as well! William, with whom I dealt in the past & handling my mower repairs, still works there, though I never spoke with him this time. Most of the folks I did speak with on the phone were fairly friendly, thus the 2-star rating instead of 1."
"Personal service. All customers treated like long time customers. Very knowledgeable and very willing to share it with an amateur like me without feeling dumb. I bought a Husqvarna brush cutter, a professional tool. I'm looking forward to when it comes in. I'll definitely need support. I could have bought it closed to home, but they treated me quite opposite."
"Please folks, go somewhere else with your servicing needs. These people told me the repair would be 3 weeks. Five weeks later, they still haven't touched it and claim they are waiting on parts. (Husqvarna Corporate says otherwise). Every other dealer around says their repairs take 7-10 days max, and that they have no problem getting parts. This place will lie to your face, (and over the phone) just to get you off the line. They provide zero updates on their work timeline, but promise to call you back if you call them. (They never have called me back a single time). I should have read the other reviews before dropping off my mower with them. Several other customers have had the exact same experience as me. Dont waste you time with them, (especially if your mower is nearing the end of your warranty period like mine). Several other dealers in the area have pristine ratings."
"Outstanding experience. I went in and the guy behind the counter greeted me and let me know he would be just a moment, as he was with another customer. It always feels good to be acknowleged. When he was available he was knowledgeable, kind and informative. I was there for a belt for my mower. He found the exact one I needed and I was on my way. The big deal was when I got home I was having some trouble installing it. I called the store and got the same representative. He answered my questions over the phone and I was able to finish the install. Could not have gone any better. I will return for any of my outdoor power needs. Way to be awesome."
