"DO NOT attend this college if you are disabled. Disability accommodations are a joke. Awesome staff but at the end of the day the school just wants your money. Look at their website. A thousand “pay now” buttons but only one “academic calendar” that takes five minutes to find. Every year they make things harder for the students and more difficult for the teachers to teach their subject. It’s crazy."
"Best community college in the Tri Cities and Northeast Tennessee..... Hands down!!!! They actually have professors who genuinely care and want their students to learn and succeed. I have made lifelong family and friends thanks to this amazing college. I also graduated in the top 10 of my graduating class with so many honors, achievements, and an associates of science degree. Definitely a milestone and achievement in my life that I will always be so super proud of for doing myself with the help of those compassionate and intelligent professors to help me along the way Now my middle daughter has started her first semester there and she is so super stoked and excited, and absolutely loves it so far. Definitely recommend becoming a student here after graduating high school before moving onto a bigger 4 year college."
"Great place to get started, or get a certification. 90% of my professors were really inspiring and excellent people. The other 10% were so genuinely terrible that I feel they should be let go. That being said, don't let the bad apples stop you from going here."
"It doesn’t matter how nice you are the front staff is always rude. I understand that they talk to 1000 people a day but there is no reason for it. There is always somebody who will help you out and is nice but most of the time you have to rummage through the rude staff. The teachers are usually great I haven’t had a really bad experience with the teachers. Otherwise good school to go to to get that first 2 years out of the way. They will not prepare you for the big boy colleges tho, the teachers at northeast are way more lenient and the work is a lot easier"
"I hated this school at first but now that I've been going to this campus for a few semesters I'm starting to grow on me. The campus is sweet and simple and the teachers on average are nice and willing to work with you. The content doesn't seem to be designed to be hard just to difficult, in my experience it's structured to be lightly challenging but mainly graspable if anyone understands my meaning. I'm giving it four star just because the location is not the greatest. Got an hour commute and have my first class at 7:30 am."
