"This is the perfect place to call home when spending your days hiking the mountains and exploring the farms and vineyards of Shenandoah Valley. Quiet and peaceful, the property includes a small lake with canoes, biking, and walking trails. I can imagine the rolling fields and lodge overlooking the lake serving as an ideal location for a rustic wedding. Lisa and the staff here are very responsive and helpful."

"We had a lovely weekend at Montfair for a wedding. We loved the beautiful views around the resort. The cabins are on the rustic side, and we found it charming. For parents with babies and young children, plan to bring your own crib and bathtub as needed. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and cleaning items, though there’s no dishwasher (except you :) ) Our heavy duty stroller did well, but otherwise you’re probably better off baby wearing given the unpaved roads. There is a washer and dryer available at the main house for a fee. Hazelnut cottage has a built in desk that makes a great changing table."

"Absolutely beautiful place! Stayed for the weekend checked-in. on August 25th and check-out August 27th. Clean and lovely cabin. Easy to get to. Hopefully looking into coming back next summer to spend more time!"

"Absolutely wonderful venue for our wedding!! We loved it here and are so happy we were able to have our wedding here. Pros - lots of cabins for family to stay - lots of activities (kayaking, bikes, canoe, hiking) - beautiful venue - Beauchamp home for couple is perfect - friendly staff - can rent our entire venue - trash price is affordable - entire venue is walkable - arbor included - fire pit is great Cons - no cell service, but they have wifi (we knew this ahead of time) - small cabins but big enough for a weekend (Edit) - ceremony chairs, tables, and a big kitchen in the lodge are all included but not linens, ceremony set up or lodge set up Let me know if you have questions. Victoria is great and stays on top of things. Her communication is consistent and she is always willing to help."
