"An up and coming location. Perfect weather allowed for a perfect Church Picnic. Kites flying over head and a wonderful children's play griund. The pavilions stocked with wonderful games highlighted the afternoon. This will become an annual location for Fort Belvoir Gospel Service and families. This was our second church event and the location and weather was prefect. A wonderful breeze kept us cool on a very hot day."

"A unique opportunity for residents of all the Lorton area communities to meet and mingle. Families, with and without kids, will enjoy using this park. I regularly exercise my dog, Lucky, a mini Australian Shepherd on the trails that meander through and around the park. For joggers or hikers or dog exercisers, there's Giles Run Trail, which is part of the Florida to Maine Greenway Trail system. You'll see lots of wild flowers, shrubs, trees, and an occasional fox or rabbit. I walk Lucky twice daily both morning and evening . That's the time I enjoy the most. It's so peaceful. You hear the sounds of nature, as if you're in the Shenandoah National Park. Neither a sunrise nor a sunset is interrupted by the sound of rushhour traffic. Inside the park, there are many pavilions available for picnics. The county allows individuals to reserve many of them, so if you're at a table that's already been reserved when they arrive and show the certificate, you're going to have to look for another one. A small reststop building is under construction. It will be staffed with county employees."

"This is good place but could be better if plain ground is considered for kids to play soccer and also it needs more attention, this is the great location with great view."
