"This place is AMAZING! Tickets were only like $8.50 and there was a ton of things to do! There's an airplane to sit in, an ambulance to explore, a designated area just for smaller kids. It was huge. We stayed for about three hours but you could definitely make this an entire day trip! We will be back again soon!"
"Make no mistake: this is a world-class children’s museum slipped into two floors of an old commercial building in a Virginia college town. It is easily better—and cheaper—than the National Children’s Museum in DC. It has more innovative play areas in better working order than the Please Touch Museum in Philly. There is a full-scale ambulance, airplane, play kitchen, and play theater. There’s a dentist’s office and veterinary clinic. There are power tools that work and networks of vacuum tubes; a fully stocked crafts room and dedicated areas for toddlers. Every time we go in we find an exhibit we never noticed before. No one is a jerk. Staff let kids be kids and adults parent, hands-on or hands-off. Hour by hour, Explore More delivers better education than The Fixies and better entertainment than Bluey."
"Hands-down the best thing we did with our daughter during our stay at Massanutten Resort! It was about a 20 minute drive but so worth it. She was 11 months (but a very busy, walking 11 months), and she loved all the toys and stations. There are two areas just for kids 2 and under, but even in the main play areas there was so much she could participate in. Highly recommend. If we lived in the area, we'd have a membership."
"This place is awesome and would be a member in a heartbeat if I lived locally in the area. However I visited from out of town with my two year old. We came at opening. The staff were courteous, explain how things work, and super friendly. Our child loved it as soon as we entered found blocks to build. Lots of educational opportunities for older and younger children. Despite a school group being there felt like plenty of space and places to play and have room. It has two floors which can be transverse by stairs or elevator. So got lots of places to build, pretend (airport, grocery, house, pet care, etc), create, or even relax and read. Now j don't know if it is this way all the time, but our ticket allowed us to come back after his lunch and nap to play some more."
