"Beautiful farm with a peaceful atmosphere and good cuts of lamb and goat! I can see the impacts of how Linda; who started and operated this farm, set the foundations of healthy animals and how it's influenced this present day farm. I recognize the effects of the fine details put into taking care of the agriculture and animals. I'm amazed with the prettiness of the farm and how the farm store operates with the trust they've built with their customers. I've also been to many different organic farms and Bean Hallow meat is the most organic tasting I've had thus far!"
"Awesome meat and awesome farm! Some of the best lamb I have had (and smelled) so far! I could definitely taste how happy these lambs were raised :)"
"I was really excited to find a regenerative farm not too far from me. I love supporting local farmers and especially those using methods that are good for the environment. I am pretty disappointed with the batch of meat we got. We have bought a quarter cow in the past from other farmers, but he only does half or full, which is understandable as I see there is a demand. We were able to compromise and could buy cuts of meat that would equal to about a quarter of cow weight. It seems that if you go this route, you get the leftover and not very good cuts. All of our ground beef has l had tubular arteries and very hard bits in them, and just not very good favor. Some of the cuts we've had also taste very gamey as if it came from a deer. My dad is a hunter as well as my husband, so I know that taste very well. Most of the cuts are very tough as well. I think if you buy from this place, you have to buy a half cow or a whole cow. I really am disappointed, but so glad to see others have had such great experiences. We have been through about half the meat we purchased by now and it is, unfortunately, all the same."
"The farm store is great but even better is the farm itself! Everyone we saw working there--all part of one big family--was super friendly. We got to walk around and pet some of the animals. They have sheep, chickens, pigs, cows, and a couple of farm dogs, all very happy and very healthy. Would be a great place to come with a family and check out the farm."
"Great cuts and very beautiful and relaxing farm. If you don't have a Venmo account be sure to bring cash or a check."
