"I had to cancel my automobile insurance with Allstate which I had been with them for a while. My premium increase drastically and no one at the time could give me a straight answer as to why. I was told by the lady that answered the phone that I could look else where for other insurance, so I did. I called to cancel my policy.I spoke with a new person Kat Adkins who was nice and very professional and very concerned about why I was leaving them. But, with her positive attitude I assured her I would call back in 6 months before my policy renews with this other company. Hopefully, she will still be there. "While we’re all mostly dealing with reduced income due to covid19, I reached out to work with payments on my plan. Made 2 large lump sum payments, putting me under 14 days past due with less than half the normal bill to pay. Received a notice asking for the remainder of payment within 3 days of my 2nd huge payment. VA law requires them to give me 15 days to make a payment after mailing or delivery of notice. They cancelled my plan the day they printed the paper they mailed 2 days later. My main source of income requires me to travel from home to home, this now sets me back further in this pandemic. Through out this whole process I’ve received 1 call from them, asking when I was gonna make the payment. Informed them of my plans and asked for some understanding in this situation. Nope."
