"This place has so much potential. Right on the water. Tons of restaurants, parking right across the street, beautiful views, splash pad and yard games, arcade and more... Sadly no one was using them. The place was a ghost town. We did go on a Monday at lunch, but right in the heart of downtown Norfolk it was shocking to see less than 10 other people hanging out. They have clearly invested a lot of money into what should be without a doubt a very happening spot, hopefully something changes and they get some life in the area. The ferry also comes directly to the location and there's a nearby light rail stop. Handicap accessible"

"I could see this place being a lot of fun when a good crowd is there. I have been in a few times, not while it was busy. I haven't gotten food so i cant say one way or the other there, but the drinks were ok."

"Beautiful evening with my husband. A lovely ferry ride across the Elizabeth River to the Waterslde District of Norfolk. $4 for a round trip ferry ride. You can buy tickets at a kiosk machine right near the ferry terminal and it takes cash (it even had a coin slot as well as bills and credit and debit cards) My husband had a cocktail party for his work that was hosted at the Harbor Club from 6-9 pm with the first two hours being inside the Harbor Club and the last hour outside on the veranda. We saw a beautiful family with four young children on the return trip across the river. Then I spoke to a lovely mother who was with her daughter as we departed the ferry. It was such an enjoyable trip and lovely conversations within our community. The HRT ferry staff was also super helpful and friendly too!"
