"The science department (bio, biochem, chemistry, physics) is amazing and so helpful in supporting students aiming for any graduate level education. Every professor pushes you to be better while also guiding you to be a better person and student. They are all straight forward and even step by step help you apply and learn about career options. I couldn't have asked for better mentors in that department. And I'm thankful every day that they invested so much in me and helped me get into medical school. The school community in itself is not accommodating. I felt ostracized my first year being out of state and being minority. I almost transferred my freshman year because I was just that miserable living on campus. The community is not diverse by any means and it is 100% a suitcase school, despite what I was told when I visited before applying. I don't necessarily blame the school for the students attitude but I never felt welcomed or at home at Anderson after 4 years. I am also a Christian, and did not agree with many of Anderson's values, although their rules are not difficult to follow, just tedious. Essentially, Anderson Univeristy has a fantastic science department, and I would rate them by themselves 10/10 but the community there I would rate 4/10. If you just want a great science education, they have it, but social life isn't as guaranteed."

"I am currently a student at Anderson University, and overall I have had a great experience. I have made great friends and the academic curriculum is excellent in my major. I will say that the school is not for everyone. It has a very strong christian atmosphere and students are held to certain rules and standards not found at other schools. However, this is part of what I like about Anderson as it helps prepare students for the real life scenarios of being responsible adults. I will tell you this though, every professor puts in 110% into everyone's education, I have never been denied academic help when I needed it. I feel prepared for the future going forward into my senior year next semester."

"Anderson University is a wonderful school. I'm really not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from, but I just finished my first year and I love everything about it. I'm willing to admit that the school is not for everyone, but if you want a small, welcoming, Christian school, you will find it at AU! I never experienced anything but kindness, challenging classes, caring professors and classmates, and a beautiful campus."
