"Beautiful patisserie with tasty desserts, bread, and tarts. Easy location to find and cute, quirky decorations. Other patrons were friendly as well."
"The best bakery in DC! Tried so many places after living in DC for 5 years, but I come back to this bakery every weekend. Always very fresh pastries and they use high quality ingredients. They also sell high quality tea and jam. I wish the place was bigger, so it would be easier to find a seat."
"To be honest I am not that satisfied with tried items. Reading the reviews and watching a lot of Youtube videos everyone was recommending this place and I was expecting perfect pastries. The only one that was up to my taste is lemon tart. You could fell lemon taste and it was fresh and delicious. The pistachio one tastes like butter and dough, you couldn't taste the pistachio at all. The filling is just green color without any taste. Very disappointing! The third one was okay but nothing special. It felt like it isn't freshly made."
"Does this look like a flaky, airy, buttery French croissant by a renowned patisserie? We’ve been coming here for years and have been cheering you on when you expanded. We’ve seen the prices go up too. Of course everything is more expensive now. But $4 for this mess? It’s a shame. It’s not the first time we’ve been dissatisfied recently. These days, for instance, I always make sure to specifically ask for a ‘not so dark’ almond croissant when I feel like getting one, because those are often overbaked. We know you work hard and I hate to be harsh on a local small business. That’s what the three stars instead of two or even one are for. I do, however, also hate to come home excited and see this when I open the bag of what should be a delicacy. I hope you take note of the flurry of recent reviews by long time customers who point out the decline in quality. It looks like something seriously needs to change."
"This is a hopping, little French patisserie with delicious baked goods. We especially enjoyed the mango panna cotta and the apple turnover. I could eat one of those turnovers for breakfast every day! We gave 4 stars instead of 5, because the place is a little cramped and there is not very much seating."
