"This was the first time here at the Johnson City location. When I lived in South Carolina there was one. I absolutely liked it! Better in my opinion then the one I went to on South Carolina. The food was fresh. The staff was so friendly and hustled! The restaurant is very clean. I highly recommend it if you love breakfast like I do!"
"Eggcellent choice for New Years Eve breakfast. On-line order was ready upon pickup. Food hot and very flavorful. The brunch burger was a hit. Both omelets cooked to perfection and filled with lots of veggies and meats. Pancakes light and fluffy and ready for some hot syrup. They only gave you 1 syrup so make sure you ask for 2."
"Great place. And do mean great. My server she is smart ,knowledgeable, and very friendly. Her name is shea . Ask for her . Well folks have to say the corned beef hash is the best in Johnson City. The eggs Benedict is spot on. And the grits was amazing. Every worker looked happy to be here doing there jobs. And manager Ethan was friendly and wanted to make sure u are happy. Miss sue greets u when u come in super sweet. And for all of us diabetic they carry Splenda."
"I went this morning and had the Homestead Platter. The server was exceptional, the food was... Good, and the atmosphere welcoming. The biscuits and gravy were above average for "chain" venues, eggs were cooked perfectly and were tasty, the bacon was delicious, but the sausage patties tasted like something from McDonald's? Maybe the homemade sausage I'm used to has me spoiled because I was not impressed and would not order the sausage patties again. I will go back again to try some other offerings."
"This trip didn’t start out great but it ended well. The hostess sat me down at 9:09. At least 2 waitresses walked by without saying a word so I closed the menu to signal that I knew what I wanted. Still nothing. At 0914 I pushed the closed menu to the edge of the table to hint I’m ready to order. There were 5 empty tables so it definitely wasn’t packed and there were at least four waitresses behind the bar. I’m not sure what the issue was. 11 minutes later, at 0920 I asked the hostess if anyone was working the area I was in. She went to the kitchen and asked someone where Amanda is. She couldn’t find her so a waitress named Allison came over. She was super apologetic and said she would take my order until the waitress who works the area returned. The hostess Sue brought me waters until Amanda could be found. Despite the rocky start, the food was good. The pancakes were delicious-slightly crispy on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside. Wish the syrup was served warm but it’s okay because the pancakes were still really good. I will pass on the country ham in the future. It was good but it was a small piece for an extra $2.75. They have an extensive menu-grits, oatmeal, omelets, bacon, sausage, ham, biscuits, gravy, eggs, donuts, pancakes, yogurt, waffles and more. The restaurant was clean and it was easy to hold a conversation with the other person at the table. Some diners can be so noisy. We will be back. Thanks Allison for taking over today"
